Paulus Nghifile. He lives alone in a remote settlement having originally come to the area to look after the cattle but he is now too old to work. He spends his time building his home using zinc sheets and salvaged materiel. Paulus suffered from malaria three years ago and needed to get treatment at the nearest hospital, a 100 kilometres away. It took him one week to walk the distance.
This is the first time Paulus has had a mosquito net. He also received accompanying education from the NetsforLife 'Malaria Agents' on malaria prevention and how to hang and use his nets to maximise effectiveness and longevity. Oshivelo district, Northern Namibia. November 2010.
